I often hear or read about using the bottle of isopropyl alcohol in camera flash photography, how is this done An alcohol bottle is about the right size to slip over many flash heads. Just cut the bottle in half and fit it over the head. You'll probably have to tape it on. Then it works as a diffuser, similar to a Fong Sphere or a pocket bounce. You will have to use plus compensation, and it really causes fall off, so you can't be too far away. Works great within 8 or 10 feet, though! Another thing that works great as a diffuser is bubble wrap, especially when you are bouncing flash. Just slip a small bubble bag over the flash head, secure with a rubber band, and shoot away. What do you hear about it please elaborate on your question. Edit: Wow, dude dont waste your time with that. A cut piece of white printing paper works better. If its still too bright then you tape another piece of paper over it. Of course you can always do what they guy below me said. But I hardly think its worth your time ot make it a perfect fit. |
