Is flash photography ok on new born babies?


i'm worried that the flash will hurt the little fellas eyes or damage them even?

No it is not O.K. Since the pupils of infants are more dilated than grown ups, it can cause damage.
its fine to use the flash. Just don't do it super close to his face or it may freak him out. It won't hurt his eyes though.
I am not sure if it will damage there eyes but you may want to check with a doctor first in order to prevent any damage on the Lil fella.
