Best entry remote flash photography kit for Skating and BMX? |
I want to get into shooting photos of skaters or BMXers at night or indoor skateparks with poor lighting. I know there are some slave lights out there, but i dont know where to start. I want to be able to have flashes go off from multiple angles when i shoot. Cheapest Way: Wein Peanut Slave will fire any non-dedicated flash unit: http://www.calumetphoto.com/item/cg1200/... Coolest Way: Nikon's Creative Lighting System is wirelessly controlled by camera: http://www.olegnovikov.com/technical/nik... Hope this helps. A couple of older Nikon SB-26 Speed lights have built in slaves, but they will fire if somebody else is shooting. You could hook them up to Wein Slaves and control them separately which also work with just about any type of hotshoe flash system. There are other more powerful systems but I gave you the cheaper end unless you have a lot of money. Look here and see what you can find (look in the used section also). http://www.bhphotovideo.com Hope that gives you a start, Kevin |
