Is flash photography safe when used on babies?

Yeah don't worry about it. It will prob just close it's eyes during the flash anyway.
they melt, of course it's safe people have been haveing baby pictures for ever and ever
my gf worked in the mall at picture people
it's not recommended to use it the first 40-60 days.
ye but try not to use too much and too close.....and why not jst take them in the day? when u dont need flash? ^_^
If they're sleeping or turned away from the flash, then I guess it's okay.
I have never heard of anything bad happening to the child resulting from an electronic flash.
