Why is flash photography not allowed in theme parks? |
There are certain rides at theme parks (or sometimes entire parks) that do not let you use flash photography. Is there a technical explanation for this or is it just a way to stop people from annoying the park's guests? My reasonings: Some rides have sensors that can be thrown off by bright flashes, which will ruin the experience. Constant flashing is really annoying to other riders. It easy to lose a camera on a lot of rides and the park doesn't want to have to go find it for you. If you're taking pictures you're not really enjoying the ride. It ruins the surprises they put in the rides to have pictures of them everywhere. sometimes they use fake things in the rides, like rubber dinosaurs or cheap visual or motion effects. so if u take a pic, it reveals how crappy the ride is, then its boring and you wont wana ride it again. 2 reasons: It wrecks the ride for everybody else and the repeated flash can dull the color of all the fabric. thats all it reveals the subliminal ads they use to get you to spend a ton of money on worthless crap. it scares the rides. it for two reasons the first is so you won't bother any body else the second is they usually sell souvenir pictures in their gift shop and if they let you take your own pictures then they can't sell their own A flash from a camera can also distract the ride operator. To the point of not being able to do his job temporarily. It's called flash blindness. and is also very annoying to others. |
