What's the flower on digital cameras? |
I have a fuji a345 and one of the options is that when hit a button with a flower, and when i take a picture the flash doesn't come up. I know a friend has a digital camera by Sony and it has the flower too. I just never knew what it was. Can any pros of digital photography help? I lost the booklet somewhere and can't really find it. Thnx As the others said, the flower icon indicates Macro mode, Macro mode is for taking extreme close-up shots, 5cm or less. That means that you can approach your subject by 5cm to 0cm -depends on the camera- and the camera still focuses. I think the flower icon indicates the ability to take a picture in macro mode - meaning you can take an extreme close-up without the image coming out all fuzzy and out of focus. Give it a try! the flower on most digital cameras is the macro setting for very close pictures such as flowers or bugs ect. yes, it's Macro mode to take closeup shots |
