Card error?

i have a digital camera,fuji f 700. when i turn it on it says "card error",,,nothin works,,what is this, and how do i fix this?

I have a digital camera fuji 800 and ive never had that problem i would suggested takeing it into a best buy or circut city where they can look at it and tell you if its the camera or the card. hopefully you get it fixed so you can add great pics to this world good luck
