how do i focus just on what i want and keep the background blury? my camara is fuji finepix 5600 The main object has to be in the centre of the focus and should be considerably close - the closer the better.
Also its a question of lighting.
The less light you have the less sharp background you get. I think you have to use photo shop to do that. That is what I use anyway my cam will not do that You asked this twice ... see the link for the answer (in case you missed it) blurry as in out of focus ?
Then you need to open the lens as wide as possible (small aperture number) which means lots of light coming in at the same time, so a short exposure time. this will force a shallow depth of field and if you focus on the subject, the background will be out of focus.
Blurry as in camera shake ?
take your subject on a car with you and take a photo at a slow speed. the subject is moving with you so his relative speed is 0 so he'll be still, whilst the background is moving and you'll see the image with horizontal lines (if moving horizontally).
Do some tests with your digital camera at different settings and see the effect. if you cannot control the aperture, use the portrait mode which will try to force a wide aperture. |
