Fuji digital camera is very cheap. Do I have any reasons not to buy it?

I just compared it with other brand with the same spec. Fuji is about 40-50% cheaper than other popular brands. Is it worse than others?

They actualyl pretty good, Fujifilm camera to digital kinda late compare to other, but fujifilm was like the king in film camera. Fujifilm Digital camera has some of the very best camera sensor and great design. However it lack some friendly mode scene as other offer, but fuji does take very nice picture.

It depends on which particular model it is. Fujifilm make some very good cameras...and some that are not so good.
What model of Fujifilm is it?

Fuji is a company that gives affordable high quality!

A camera for the Family and party's i would highly recomend!

Personally, I would go with a Canon.

Whichever camera you decide to buy though, I suggest you invest in a good, high quality camera. It'll be better in the long run.

I don't agree...
S5pro is 50% more expensive than D200, and that's a good comparison as they are almost the same camera.
F30 and F31fd are also very expensive, much more than competitors...
On the lower end, I don't know very well their situation.
I noticed that Fuji cameras with Fuji sensor are a lot more expensive thant Fuji cameras with Sony sensors (such as A series). Maybe your are talking about that range ?

Fuji cameras are upon the best ones on the market, if you find them cheap, then don't hesitate and go for it !

Petra-au is correct knowing the model number would help. You might check prices on this Website and if it's 50% cheaper than Website, something is fishy...be careful.

If you compare cameras with the same technology and features, I don't think it's 40% cheaper.

My first digital camera was a Fuji F601Z. It took great pictures and movie. The current Fuji uses SD card too, which is better.

There is only one problem, my Fuji didn't last 1 year of the warranty. I got it repair, then another thing broke and it was after the warranty. The power just goes off after 5 seconds. I hope they are more reliable now. But ever since my switch to Canon, they all last pass 3 year or more.

I think reliability is very important. Most cameras take pretty good photos. If you want a cheap and stylist camera, Fuji and Sony are fine. However, if you want a reliable camera, go for a Canon.
