Help with camera settings? |
I have the fuji finepix z10fd. When I take pictures in my house they come out too dark. i have dark hair and when i put them on my computer my hair almost blends in with the dark walls or whatever. i've been changing the settings but i can't get it right. Can someone help me figure out what i should set it to? There are multiple things you can do. Make sure that when you use your autofocus...that you are focusing the light meter (the little boxes or lines in the eyepiece or screen) are placed on the darkest subjects in the picture. If you place them on the lightest, the meter will read that to be the lightest part of the picture..causing the other parts of the picture to be dark. That's probably O.K. you need to edit the pictures with the computer. If you don't already have a good program, then download Picasa2, it's free and it works great. 1. Try taking the picture with the flash. You'll be brighter than the wall because you are closer to the flash. |
