Need help choosing the right digital camera...?

So far I have purchased two Fuji digital cameras. I am not satisfied at the length of time it takes inbetween pics. I need something quicker. Any suggestions? My new fuji camera also makes blurred pics. Help me find me the perfect camera!

The right digital camera for you? Well, you may want to be more specific in the kinds of photos you like to take.. Do you take outdoor/indoor mostly?

The dig. lag could be caused by using the flash, that takes a considerable amount of time between pics and generally NOT necessary to use outside unless you are in the shade with the sun behind you !

Or if you are taking pictures of fast object in low light.... Try turning off the flash and setting the camera to "fast" mode there may be a dial setting that has that... I would also consult your owners manual. Also, you may want to purchase a camera that has a rechargeable battery over AA's or lithium...

kodak has some great point and shoot cameras

The, "time in between pics" is most likely not the problem of the camera. Try and get a faster memory card. If not, buy a camera that uses CF(Compact flash) It is the fastest of the compact memory cards(like SD, Mini, Micro etc)

I have a Kodak Easyshare V705 that I love. I'm a decorator, and use alot of my own photos when re-doing a room, I love that the V705 is small, gives me excellent quality photos, I like having a printer dock to check prints before sending them off for enlargement (I have enlarged to poster size without any problems with quality). I have 3 other Easyshare camera's and the V705 is by far my favorite one.

What types of photos do you take? Pro or amateur? I recommend a Canon. If its pro, I recommend a Canon SLR. with MP of at least 5MP. Its lens specializes on different light conitions which is essential in pro shooting. If its amateur, have a Canon Powershot with at least 5MP. I also recommend you to have a slim & compact camera when you're into traveling as well.

Have you tried the Panasonics? or the Kodak?

Digicams are notorious for what is called "shutter lag". Some are better than others but they all have it.

IMO your problem with "blurred pics" is most likely the result of your error, not a problem with the camera. I'll take a wild guess - and guess that you have not READ & STUDIED the Owner's Manual for your camera.

Failure to actually READ & STUDY the Owner's Manual is a guarantee of poor results and frustration regardless of the camera you own. You can buy the most expensive camera available (Hasselblad H3D II, $35,000.00 +/-) and unless you learn how to use it your results will be the same. The only way to learn to use it is to READ & STUDY the Owner's Manual.

in my opinion its more much better to uy canon powershot digital cameras for example canon g9 or canon sd950
