Need Help Uploading Digital Photos Directly From Camera? |
I have a fuji finepix s6000fd and have the cord plugged into the camera and into the usb port of my computer. I'm running windows XP. I've never tried to download pics directly from my camera but I can't find my card reader so if I want my pics online this is my only option. Someone please help me! I don't have the software but I turned it on and it's reading it so we'll see! The software that came with the camera should automatically detect when you plug the camera into the computer and ask you if you wish to transfer pics to the pc. Make sure the camera is on. go to |

If those are your two choices, I would say go for the Fuji. You mentioned the extended zoom range, the Fuji has it for you. ...If it's either Olympus or Fujifilm, yes. Otherwise, no. ...... Yes, as you say you have some spreading white point areas - but it's a difficult / high contrast shot and you were only 1/2 a stop out! One way to overcome this would to meter the highlight... Normally, digital cameras would shoot stills much better than vcam as these are really designed for pictures. In like manner, a camcorder would definitely record much better videos than a digica... Have you tried with a different cable as that one may be faulty? Could you take the memory card out and put it straight into the computer (if it has the relevant port)? I'm not sure but ... The Fujifilm model stands out as the worse by having a slower lens and a smaller sensor (probably because of its longer optical zoom), so, unless you need that much zoom, I'd definitely choose... If your camera is under a year old, Fujifilm will replace the sensor for you. Call their help line and get further instructions. ... |
