Is Fujifilm FinePix F480 a good camera? |
I'm planning to buy it. I think its good, do you? It is a good camera .. buy SD memory cards for it, then if in a few years you want to buy a different brand, chances are the memory cards you will have by then will fit your new camera as well. I got the f480 about 2 months ago and I'm planning to sell it on Ebay. The pictures are fake as well as the movies, and it has no options. Like, you can't even have black and white pics and stuff. Also, without the flash the pics are extremely blurry. Get the Casio Exilim 8.1 mega pixel. My sis got that and the pics/videos are so clear it's crazy and it has so many options. |

The software that came with the camera should automatically detect when you plug the camera into the computer and ask you if you wish to transfer pics to the pc. Make sure the camera is on. ...If those are your two choices, I would say go for the Fuji. You mentioned the extended zoom range, the Fuji has it for you. ...If it's either Olympus or Fujifilm, yes. Otherwise, no. ...... Yes, as you say you have some spreading white point areas - but it's a difficult / high contrast shot and you were only 1/2 a stop out! One way to overcome this would to meter the highlight... Normally, digital cameras would shoot stills much better than vcam as these are really designed for pictures. In like manner, a camcorder would definitely record much better videos than a digica... Have you tried with a different cable as that one may be faulty? Could you take the memory card out and put it straight into the computer (if it has the relevant port)? I'm not sure but ... The Fujifilm model stands out as the worse by having a slower lens and a smaller sensor (probably because of its longer optical zoom), so, unless you need that much zoom, I'd definitely choose... |
