Easy to use digital camera?

I currently have a Fuji Finepix 810, which is great but hard to focus and get shots that aren't blurred or dark. I am wanting a good digital camera (upto 拢150) that my son can use with ease at my up and coming wedding, and that I can take on my honeymoon.

Needs:
Take XD cards (have 3)
Quick shots
Zoom
LCD panel on back
Night mode shots

Basically one that can just take a quick snap and the pic looks good!!

I suppose as cards are cheap now, any make will be ok

memmory cards are extremly cheap now, you could pick a 2GB SD card up for as little as 拢7-拢8

it is a little more then you said, but i have the older camera and it is fantastic. has a fantastic video quality aswell, and a excellent optical zoom, has a digital aswell. you get a clearer picture with the optical zoom, but you cant really tell the diffrence with the digital one cos it's pretty good.

uses SD cards, and i would reccomend getting 2 or 3 2GB ones. you will get a few hundred pictures on each on the high quality, (about 30-40 on the highest quality setting) but mainly a few cards for the video.

if you can, i would also get a spare battery off ebay.

and this camera has a fool proofe photo system. you can have it on diffrent manual settings but there is a setting that will give anyone who uses it the perfect settings for the enviroment there in and will get the perfect picture.

any camera you get i would get a few weeks befor the wedding and let your son take a lot of pictures to get used to any of the settings that what ever camera you decide to buy has, and the best way to get a good pic.

if failing to get that one, second recomendation would be this one

but only got an idea of what the panasonic is capable of, and it's real good! (dont know about this one though)

Your choice with xD cards are limited to Fuji or Olympus brand cameras!!

I have a panasonic fz-8 which is very good and trusty for all needs amateur or pro's. It has a stabilizer, a built in flash, a 12x optic zoom which can extend to 72x (including digital), a large LCD panel , 7.2 MP pics....It's all i need, it uses SD cards and has the battery included !
