Best camera for begginers??

I would like to start the hobby of photograghy.What do you think is the best camera for begginers? On Flickr, I heard that the Fuji was a good camera. If you know any more can you PLEASE tell me????!!!!!!

I have always worked with Canon cameras. I just recently purchased a Canon Digital Rebel XTi and it has been great. It all depends on how much you want to spend. Point and shoots are usually cheaper than SLR cameras but the picture quality is nowhere near the quality of an SLR.

I reciently bought a Canon eos 400d with 2 lenses inc, the 18-55mm & 75-300mm. im very happy with it, it was the perfect entry level camera for me.
Thou tough decision between the canon eos 400d and the nikon 40dx, canon just felt better in my hand, other than that both are awsome dslr entry level cameras.

I am a beginner photographer and I am currently using a Kodak easy share C433. I would recommend a small camera like mine. And when you get used to the camera than you can buy a different camera that you like and has more features.

I use a Fujifilm Finepix A820. Had it for a year. Fine camera.
