Transferring video camera tapes over to dvd or memory card? |
I have a JVC video camera and recently took footage of a family gathering however i accidentally recorded the footage onto a tape instead of the usual memory card. Now I want to store the footage and edit it using my computer but as it's stored on the tape not my memory card I have no idea of how to get the footage onto my computer. Been trying for a week and at a loss as to if it's even possible, any help would be appreciated as i really need this done. Video Editing Process * You need video capture(video card or IEEE 1394 card)card on your computer.then connect your camcorder through DV cable(fire wire cable) or some cards have AV in put. You need an i.Link cable (IEEE 1394) to transfer the video to your computer. Check to see if your computer has an i.Link digital interface port. |
