JVC mini DV camcorder Questions? |
i just bought a new JVC camera. idk the model number or w.e but its mini dv(little tapes) and it has a DV cable slot..what kind of cable do i need to put them on my computer and my second question is how do i delete the videos or rerecord over the videos that i dont want anymore? You need a firewire cable (IEEE1394, i.link are the same thing). If you just got the camcorder and don't know the model, read the manual - it will be in there. There will also be several pages describing what you need to do to connect. Your computer will also need a firewire port. If the camcorder has a DV slot, it shuld be firewire out.You need IEEE1394 (video card on your pc, to check it, right click on my computer, properties, device manager, now you can see ieee1394 host manager,if your pc got it) to copy from cam to pc. |
