Need a camera for an internet tv show. JVC GZ hd7 or JVC GR HD1? |
A friend and I are starting an internet tv show. myspace.com/overdriveinternettv If I ABSOLUTELY HAD to pick one of the two, I would pick the HD7 because it had a built in 60gb hard drive. But, for your needs, I would pick neither of them. You do not need a great camera for a web show. Most web shows don't even allow the high quality and myspace can't upload that high resolution. I would go for the camera that I own. It is the JVC Everio GZ-MG330H. It has a 30GB HDD and the quality is great. At highest quality, it takes 7 hours of video!!! i dont think anyproblem on that. becuse we saw a lot of american NRI 's and tourists bring their camera from there and using here. ...Does your PC have a PCMCIA slot or an express card slot?? If it does just buy a firewire card and that will solve your problems!! Just remember to buy a firewire cable to connect the devices!!! ...you're travelling overseas and probablly won't have your computer with you. you shoot on the HDD cam and the drive fills ups. then what do you do? get a mini dv cam and have plenty... I'm sorry but people that buy things "last summer" and use it till now really TICK me off!!!!!!!!!! I get calls all the time with these questions. I mean why would you buy something... You need S-video & AV. You can get them from any electronics store. ...Read your manual again... ... Video quality from miniDV tape would be one of the best specially if the intention is to edit the video also, which may prove difficult for DVDs. But being a father too, I suppose you'll be r... I started with a Sony PD150 then moved to the PD170, both were reasonable priced and are classed as professional cameras or at the very least Hi End Semi-Pro. good Luck ... |
