Transfering movies off a camcorder to the computer? |
I have a jvc camcorder that uses a dvc tape and i want to transfer a movie i recorded onto my computer. It came with a disk of the digital photo navigator but so far it seems as if it will only import pictures and only ones found on the computer i have plugged in the camera with a usb and the computer does not seem to aknowldge it is plugged in. I want to know how to upload the movies from the tape onto the computer. MiniDV tape will not transfer using USB. Your computer needs a Firewire 400 port (typically easy to add and they are cheap) and a firewire cable. Firewire400, IEEE1394a and i.Link are all the same thing. See my video |
