How can I record my tv screen using a video camera?

I have a JVC Mini DV video camera model GR-D27OU.
I want to know if I can record my tv screen using the AV, not just by recording it by hand. I don't know if I need an AV in/out or what on the camera. Can someone help me?

You would need to have "AV-in" and the AV cable that came with the camcorder if the camcorder has AV-in capability. Also - your TV needs AV-out (or you are using a VCR and have the appropriate cables), so we are assuming you already have this part covered.

There is no reference to AV-in. The AV jack appears to be outbound only.
