Photography.Suggest methods you would use to create "mood" in a landscape?

what is mood? light or shadow..

dawn... beautiful blue end light... sharp crisp and hard
evening, red end light, softer warmer and stunning colours...

depending on the conditions, a longer exposure maybe

Choosing the right time of the day to take the image, ie early morning, or evening, low light. Think about weather conditions, ie heavy storm clouds can be dramatic with forground lit by golden light. Fog or mist. Sunbeams breaking through clouds or trees. Rain, snow, frost. Anything other than blue skies and sun.

Careful use of filters can add mood at times as can overall colour casts such as blue.

Look at landscape pictures and find those that show a mood and then work out why.

I loved to use orange/red filter with my black&white negatives...Clouds were dramatic....
Old good times - not sure if it's gonna work with recent digital cameras....
