Palomar college student needing help on which pathway to go for photography?

i do not know what kind pf photography i want to do, but maybe portrates, weddings, landscape, commercial. but i have an option of iether getting my aa or ba. most amatures might say get ba, but i hear that it is mostly reputation.

my trouble is that i want to go to a csu, but i do not know why. and i do not even know if just getting my college general education is even worth it, but i feel that later down the road when i want to get a job they will ask maybe?

i want to know from some of the pros out there what it takes to get a decent job. I do not want to spend a lot of money and time just to find out at the end that what i did was pointless.

i think this is one of the reasons that a lot of students give up, it s too freakin hard to find out what is needed.

Don't give up. At least get your BA in something.

I would suggest that you pursue a more "bread and butter" degree and enjoy photography as your professional income increases and allows it.
