Best sites of mtns., cliffs, ocean scenes to photograph near LA?


First trip to LA (CA). Love nature photography, especially of rocky cliffs, oceans, mtns. (landscapes Michigan doesn't have) Do you know of any good highways overlooking cool ocean rocky scenes or mountain views great for photography in the LA area? Not crowded by millions of people would be a plus.
