Does anyone here know photography tricks? |
I took a photography class before when i was in 9th grade wherein one of our projects was to take two rolls of 36-shots films and take pictures of a certain landscape or scenery using all the shots, with different angles. She even asked us to tilt the camera upside down! And then after we developed the pictures, we were suppose to form the image using all the pictures we took. what do you call this trick? It is a collage, you can not do panoramics with upside down frames and straight ones. It's called Splicing I think it is called a collage. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/collage... Panorama? That's when you join the pics to form one continuous picture. Or it's a collage if they do not connect. It's not really a trick per say, nor is it one specific method. You are (for lack of a better word) creating a panoramic collage. You are creating an image of one location using multiple angles to produce a true representation of the environment. Multiple angles (or views in this case) allow you to truly show the many planes that exist in a 3D environment. Which can't be done that well in a simple 2D photograph. By splicing the images together and combining the images together, you are creating a better representation than what you could do with a single image. It's a collage. |
