Where are the best places for landscape photography in England? |
I鈥檓 a wanna be beginner in photography... but I have discovered a passion for landscape photography especially coast line.... I would just like people to submit ideas :) as im have run out of places fast and there鈥檚 no where on the internet to find this information :) Have a look here for some spectacular photos that change every day. Also look at the Lake District Today site. http://www.lakelandcam.co.uk/ Anywhere round Morecambe Bay will give beautiful sea scenes. I'm in the States but when I visited the UK in 1986 I thought the best landscapes were in Scotland. The Lake District or the Dorset coastline. South Devon has some beautiful coastline, also inland can be stunning too. Never mind in england. Try the Gower Peninsular coastline near Swansea in Wales, or inland, the beautiful Brecon Beacons with its highest peak of Pen Y Fan. You won't better those for breathtaking scenery anywhere. apart from the lake district, which is clearly fantastic and the obvious choice, you could maybe think about the northumbria coast. we have a beautiful coastline which includes seahouses, embleton, bambrough then you have the added bonus of having the cheviots right by it. You have enough for a start (see above). I am a photographer and I would endorse the "Lake District" and then move up to Scotland where you will find coastlines and the best countryside in the UK! PS. I was born in Scotland, but whichever way you go, I wish a good trip and continued photography, professionally or amateur. It is great fun and very rewarding to the soul. Cheers - Iain |
