Whats better in landscape photography, fujifilm or kodak films? |
camera films fujifilm kodak photography It really depends on what kind of style you're going for. Both are great films but they have their own strong points. Fuji tends to have over-exaggerated color saturation, especially towards green. I find Fuji best suited for very bright colors like flowers and forest-scapes. The draw back is that it isn't representative of the actual color saturation. Kodak is very natural based; it excels with very earth tone colors. Compared to Fuji, Kodak is more realistic and gives great tones to say autumn foliage and skin tones. But Kodak isn't as blow-you-away colors for like flowers and vivid colors. I'm not sure if you can even find it anymore but my favorite color films were Agfa. I found the colors a bit more vibrant than Kodak and not so over-saturated as Fuji; ultimately a bit more true-to-life with great grain control. Ideal situation = Ideal film Vivid Flowers = Fuji Skin Tones = Kodak Not Sure = Agfa This is only my experience and this can be skewed with the paper the photo is printed on. I'd recommend trying a few films out before you make your own decision because quality is pretty much the same and it'll be up to your preference. Source(s): Pro-mateur photographer and decades of photo/chemical printing. I'd go with Kodak, in my experience Kodak produces better, more true to life colors. Ive found that Fuji film tends to add an undesirable, slightly greenish tint to photos. (I use a Minolta Maxxum 7000i SLR) Me, Myself & I for me fujifilm has a better quality. a tip for you, by using a fugifilm for slides, yet developing it like a normal film, can add so much to your photos. it really makes it look like your there and the colors are allot stronger... why are you after films in this digital age? it will save you heaps on the long run i think.
