Surely not the latest digital ones coz maybe Asia is the best place thingking about the price. I want film camera, old style, seond hand would be okay. prefer brand" Leica ". R series and M series.

This is unfortunatley not located very near your hotel but is easily reachable by taking the underground - probably less than 20 minute journey und from Kensington High Street and then change onto the central line at Notting Hill where it is about 10 minutes to Holborn.
Also in the area is Jessops Classic which specialises in classic models and I'm sure would have lots of Leica - they are 67 Great Russell Street, WC1B 3BN (www.jessops.com)
And another - RG Lewis at 29 Southampton Row, WC1B 5HL (www.rglewis.co.uk)
A bit further North is MW Classic Cameras - 436 Essex Road, N1 3QP (www.mwclassic.com)
it might also be searching for Leica shops in London using yahoo or google or whatever search engine.
London is very easy to get around if you have a travelcard or oystercard so be afraid if they dont seeem very close to your hotel! Try New Oxford Street, just East of Tottenham Court Rd, Oxford Street junction, don't know about West London, hope this helps. |
