I like the Leica d-lux 3, do you? Or would you recommend the cheaper c-lux 3, or the more expensive v-lux1 - or - do you have another favorite (digital) camera to recommend? HELP me please!! The digilux3 seems to be very expensive, why is that? If you want one at a reduced price, get the Panasonic twin. The only difference is the red dot.
Leica d-lux3 = Panasonic lx2
Leica Digilux 3 = Panasonic dmc-l1
Leica Digilux 2 = Panasonic lc1
Leica v-lux1 = Panasonic fz 50

As far as (other) alternatives go, there are none. Not in terms of image quality. The Leica digital camera also has been tuned up with special software setting configuration toward its contrast, color saturation and other to make more Leica look (according to its website). Report It
