I think my husband is gay?

my husband recently took up on photography as a hobby, he says he wants to become a professional and sell his work. he often spends 3 hours after work, working on his photographs, he says he is "in touch with nature" or something like that, but i think he is gay and this is a way his out help what i do?

I guess the questions for you to ask yourself and try to answer yourself are:

Where is he working on these photographs - at a gay bar?
Is there any reason why you wouldn't be able to join him on his photo shoots?
Do you really care if he is gay?
Is he shooting nature or human bodies?
Does he hide the photos when you want to see them or is he okay for you to see them?
What is it about him that makes you suspect he is gay?
Why are you not being supportive of his hobby if it is legit?

Just reflect on those questions. No need to answer them in this forum. As long as you're comfortable with the answers than you will know if he is truly gay or not and what that could mean to your relationship.

Just coz hes decided to start taking photographs doesnt mean hes gay. What is your basis for the accusations?

Why would something like this make you think he's gay? Sounds like you've got a problem with his hobby and you've got to label him as something. Are you looking for an excuse to get out of the marriage? Funny how you can up with that.

Not all nature lover is gay. He just show his emotions towards his works. The arts must have emotion to convey its viewer. Thus, i would say your husband is just expressive and it must be needed in his work!!!

Ok, I have known plenty of men to take photographs for a living and for hobby (including my own daddy) and they were not gay at all. So why do you think that because he is taking photographs that he is gay??? That doesn't make sense. I could see if he had started dressing in women's clothes or going to gay bars, then you would have reason to think he was gay.

he is embracing his creative side and his growing interest in photography should be encouraged...your hubby could be away from home doing far worse things then appreciating nature!!

you should compliment him on his work and show an interest... if your husband is treating you well and being loving and caring towards you and your family then i think he deserves an escape!

Not enough info to say your hubby is gay indicates he's displaying homosexual behavior. Is it gay to spend 3 hours after work working on a hobby? or to say your in touch with nature? I think not. Next time you slam your husband on the WWW make sure it's well founded.

I seriously think a few husbands are touched with a spot of being gay.. and they honestly make the best of husbands and best of friends. If he's truly gay, he'll not make love to you. Something sounds like it's going on.. though it might just as easily be another woman as a man in those three hours after work. Maybe he really loves his hobby. Offer to help him work on his photographs..

just because he likes photography doesnt make him gay you can always hire a private investigator to see if he is meeting with a guy somewhere

You need more than just photography to say that your husband is gay. This is ridiculous.

What's gay about photography? A lot of men are into art, there is nothing gay about it, he is a deep human being.

OMG! You are going to have to give some examples of why you think he's gay. just because he's taken up a new hobby doesn't make him gay. And what does nature have to do with being gay?

How do you get gay out of photography? Are you that much of a bigot? You cannot assume that a man is gay because he likes photography.

You either have to have some real reasons for believing he is gay or give up on this assumption.

first it depends on what kind of photos he is taking is the shots resembling gayness or are they normal but if you think so then true your women's intuition* GURL CHECK IT OUT!!!!!

Ok I am a nature photographer with a several grand invested in gear. I love being outside and watching animals and stuff, but I would still pick up a gun, bow or another weapon and hunt. Being a photographer does not make a man gay.
