and i just wanted some ideas for a cool picture (not too difficult, because i'm definitely quite the amateur lol)...i usually take nature pictures and stuff....thanks so much!!!! :)

the contest is nothing specific....i can pick anything...anyways,i was just looking for ideas that would inspire me, not what exactly my picture would look like! (ex: someone might suggest about a puppy and that gives me an idea to photograph something involving youth or things growing...)

Take a pinhole picture - the low-tech approach sometimes impresses people in this hi-tech age - it's unusual and people overlook it - you can make a pinhole camera out of a dig slr or a shoe-box or anything really - it's quite fun too - look it up on the net.

What is the contest subject?
Besides which, how can you justify using our imagination when it should be your own?

Take a close-up of a flower; sunflowers make beautiful pictures!

just walk around and whatever you think is pretty or interesting take a few frames of.
if you have a photoshop or something like that and know how to dodge, burn, lighten I would definitely recommend that.

I am a photographer. I think you need to take a picture of a weirdly shaped tree in the fog. Or a the ocean/beachs. They are really pretty! Try to get some or the actvity that is going on if you do the beach. Take a lot of pictures and chose the best one. If you chose what to take a picture of take more than one of that picture so you can pick the best one. I think you should take at least 10 mabe more. One will be the best.
