Local music venues/bars in Denver? |
Im going to be in Dever, Co this weekend (thursday the 22-monday the 26) and I want to find some local music venues that cater to the younger crowd. Also any fun bars or photography museums you could reccomend would be great-I dont want to be stuck watching nature shows all weekend with the family!! thanks!! The downtown scene (LoDo) is pretty easy to walk around and you'll see many bars. I'd start at either the 16th Street Mall (not an actual mall, its the entire street lined with shops and restaurants) or Larimer Square (roughly 13th & Larimer). I'd reccomend you to the Rise nightclub (19th & Blake), its the newest and catered to the younger crowd. For music there is the Gothick Theatre, Soiled Dove, Ogden Theater and more using the link below. As for art, I'd try the Denver Art Museum (newly remodeled) and the Museum of Modern Art.
