English Help!!!!!? |
English Help!! are they subj, predicate nominative, or obj of preposition?? gerund phrases? exciting and challenging, wildlife photography is suprisingly similar to pursuing prey on a hunt. in both activities, knowing the animals habits nd habitats is vital to success. Scouting out locations is important to both the hunter and the nature photographer. this preparatin gives you time for figuring out the best natural light for photography. my teacher is retarded and only tells me the examples that are already in the book and i don't understand the examples that are there pursuing prey on a hunt. Obj. prep. to Knowing the animal's habits and habitat. Subj.of the verb is Scouting out locations Subj.of the verb is Figuring through photography Obj. Prep. for Good luck!!! AND, your teacher is far from being retarded. You are lucky to have him/her!! Chow!! I can't fully help you, but I can tell you that the gerund phrases are: "pursuing prey" "knowing the animals' habits" "Scouting out locations" A gerund is a noun that is made by adding -ing to a verb. In all three cases above, these phrases act as a noun in their respective sentences. Sorry, can't help with the rest. Math was my bag in school, not English so much! ~ 鈾?~ |
