People who like photography and KNOW ABOUT CAMERAS?

which camera should i pick?
http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/catoid/-...

i'm going to use it to photograph nature and my friends. i'm not that great of a photographer but i love doing it. most pictures are going to be of my friends and I. i really like the lime green ones but i do not know the quality.

so if anyone has one of these cameras or works here, etc. i would love your help.

The Lime Green samsung one that you are talking about is actually pretty good. 6 megapixels means that it could zoom in a lot closer. And samsung is a pretty good brand.

But, Casio is probably the best digital camera brand. I think you should buy a Casio one if you don't mind spending an extra few bucks.
But the Samsung Lime Green one is also good.

Hope it helps

I have a fujifilm finepix F10, I bought it about a year ago and it captures really nice photo's for a point and shoot. Below is a link to a newer fujifilm finepix from the same site you linked. It's the A700, and it has a higher MP rating than the samsung, the same 3x optical zoom, movie mode and also has creative modes as well as scene selection modes that are fully automatic for landscape, portrait, close ups, and night scenes. The samsung has an image stabilizer, but the only sizable difference is the battery life. The fujifilm runs on AA batteries and goes through them a little faster. Mine uses a rechargeable battery, and the charge lasts a while. Unfortunately it doesn't come in lime green I don't think. But if you don't mind the color silver, the fujifilm is a much better camera for the money than the samsung. Anyway, that's my experience with point and shoot. Hope that helps.

And you're also going to want to invest in a larger memory stick for any camera you get. Whatever camera you buy, they all come with 12MB internal memory. That only holds around 10 low res files. You can get a 128MB stick for around 30 bucks that will hold around 80 high res files. It's not too much more for a 512MB, which is recommended.
