What telescope should I look for, to observe and photograph stars, with price between $300 and $500?

It has to be a sistem with a click and go to, so, that I decide for a start or astro on a computer sistem and the scope will find it and focus for me...
I have a Nikon D70 digital camera, so, I need to be able of taking pictures with that camera trough the scope... it has to be possible to adapt it...
Does anything like that exist on the market? and as for a cost 'till $500.00?

If you're leaning towards a Celestron and I assume you are having written in to this forum, I think for the money your best buy would be the 102 SLT GoTo refractor. This 'scope offers a wide field of view suited to deep space astrophotography while it could also be used for planetary imaging via a suitably chosen Barlow lens.
Aim to get the largest aperture for your money and this is what the 102 SLT gives (102mm or 4" of light gathering lens). It will need very little maintenance and, with no collimation as such necessary, it's ideal as an introductory instrument. BY the way though, it won't focus for you but nor with countless other 'scopes in much higher price ranges!

For your money, Telescopes.com are offering the 102 SLT at the moment on special offer for $479. Adaption of your camera by the way is easy enough by means of a "T" piece or other plentifully available means. Hope this helps you decide.
