Can anyone sugest a fast digital camers that does not have a slow delay action, pefer a compact camers?

i have a nikon F3 which is working very well just want a digital camera to carry around

in my experience, the sony T series (T1, T7, etc...) have good startup/snap times. if you want REALLY fast, get a DSLR. my Nikon D70s starts up in .5 seconds and can take 3 pictures/second
