I need a user friendly Camera, preferably a Nikon or an Olympus. One that is friendly to teenagers with, a preferably adjustable shutter speed. I would like it to have around 7 megapixels, a high optical zoom and be lower than $250. If you have any reccomendations, they dont have to fit all of those requirements, I would really appreciate the advice and reccomendations. Well, I'm partial to Nikon..They have always had a good product, even though in recent years they have switched to composite (plastic) materials.... However, so has everyone else... Anyway... are you planning on printing anything bigger than an 8 x 10? If you aren't you can go down a bit on the megapixels... 5 is good, not overkill....For $250 that won't get you much if you want to set your own shutter speed and high optical zoom... I would lean toward a beginner Nikon like the D50 I think it is... You don't have to get Nikon lenses you can use after market I like Sigma/Tamaron.... However, I've been out of the sales business for awhile- and digitals there's a new one practically everyday... So, I don't know how much help I've given you.... I would up my savings abit.. if you want to get something nice... Both Nikon and Olympus are great little cameras.
When you are researching, make sure the cameras you check out use SD memory cards. They are the most used memory cards in the point and shoot camera arena.
xD and Memory Stick cards only work on a few cameras. |
