For Nikon Coolpix series users.....? |
I have had my Nikon Coolpix L4 digital camera since X-mas eve '06. Well I LOVE this camera. But recently about two months ago it won't read my Sandisk memory card. It tells me that it "cannot be read". So I bought a new 1GB same brand and my camera tells me that it "cannot be used". I have sent it in to Nikon and it still does this. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how did you fix it? Or should I make Nikon give me a brand new one? Any advice would be appreciated!! I have the same camera. The problem isn't with the memory card. it's with the memory card reader in the camera, It is either broken or too dirty to read the memory card. To make sure the memory card isn't broken test it in someone elses camera. Go to the store where you bought the camera and ask them what would work best to clean the memory card reader in you camera. try some other brand of card where the card contacts meet the camera contacts must be clean, a cotton bud with a little isopropelline rub on the cameras contacts, if bud gets dirty might solve your problem |
