Hi all, I am new to Nikon cameras. As a preambule, I have a Sony digital camera where I can use the LCD (monitor) to look at instead of looking through the view finder, actually I thought this was standard feature on all digital cameras.
Well yesterday I got a Nikon D40X as a gift and I can't find the way of doing the same thing, all I can use the monitor for is to view the camera settings and to review already-taken pictures. Is there some setting I am missing ? Or is this the way it is? Thanks George Y. I don't know that much about cameras, so your feedback helps a lot. That's the way it is. Only a few Olympus DSLR's and the newest Nikon D300 & D3 have the liveview feature.
Trust me, there are very few photographers who would use it and we haven't missed it a bit. |
