So my first digital camera just happens to be a pro one (it's a Nikon Coolpix 8800 that my dad gave since he got a new one).
I barely know how to use it, and I've only figured some stuff out by experimenting. I notice that the shutter speed is very slow in darker rooms (like my room, it's not dark but I guess the light in there isn't light enough).
That makes it very hard to take certain pictures without it being blurry.
How do I take clear, well focused pictures in dimmer lighting? (especially at concerts, but I guess that's a whole different story) That's the problem, I can't find the manual Here is a link to the user manual you can download.
http://support.nikontech.com/cgi-bin/nik... Increase the shutter speed. Change the ISO speed.. to a higher one..
turn off the flash
There should be all sorts of settings to change,
just put it on Program mode (P)
abd go to the menu... there is a good quallity thing called a manual :P few options. change into higher iso, use flash light or use a tri pod. or just change it to auto. nikon camera should look good on auto function . 1. Make sure your camera is set at its highest ISO
2. Open up the lens aperture to its max
3. Brace the camera on something solid (a wall)
4. Press the shutter button slowly and smoothly
5. Try to shoot when the subject isn't moving around
If you're still getting blurry shots:
- Get a camera with a faster (bigger aperture) lens
- Put the camera on a tripod
- Use a remote shutter release
Hope this helps. |
