Digital Camera Memory Card question....? |
we have a nikon coolpix l6 digital camera and the memory card we have was broken, the copy write on and off switch was broken off the memory itself. i was wondering what type of memory card to buy or are all memory cards universal with most digital cameras? i need to buy a new one sometime tomorrow and would like an answer as fast as i can get one. thanks to anyone that can help. You have what is called a SD card. you will have to get an other one. as nothing can be done to fix yours. when you go to get a new one the best brands are lexar and sandisk they are available in different speeds you will not need anything faster than 80x but its OK if u get a 133x. just a side note i would tell you to get two 1gig cards and not one 2 gig card. its always better to have a back up. good luck Mostly digital camera only used recommended memory card and its amy stated on the manual book. Please refer it before your purchase. not all cameras are the same, sony's use memory stiks, samsungs use SD cards, so yes, check your manual, or look online at their website, you usually are able to pull up a manual there, (if you don't have it with you).. Or simply just take the camera with you tomorrow, I'm sure someone is willing to take 5 seconds of their time to help you find exactly what you need.. take the camera with you to any good camera shop .buy the replacment card.take a pic-check camera is ok .if not the assistant will tell you if any thing else is wrong.hope this helps |
