I need a 35 mm non digital camera im kinda leaning towards a nikon,,,?

anyone knoe of anything like that?

somthing that needs film...thanks@!

I have just that. And in my opinion better than cannon. The 35 mm no more pricey than others it's the extras that might set you back, lenses, flashes, filters, editing software that kinda stuff.
camera- N55 runs about $227.34 (comes with one lens and on board flash)
lens- 70-300mm runs about $168.78
Flash any where between 150.00 to 200.00 depending on it's capabilities.
filters- 20.00 - 60.00 depending on there effect
and if you have a scanner after developing you can digital edit your pics too!

you can work with a nikon well. they're pricey but worth it, for the most part. you should also look into getting a pentax. amazing cameras from them.

Nikons are good, as are Canon. You'll definently want to stick with a professional brand, Olympus is decent too. I wouldn't pick one up at a pawn shop (likely to have light leaks, cracked glass, etc). Buy from a camera specialty store - their salemen know their stuff (and are usually photographers too!) They'll know what will suit your needs best, and will make sure you get a good deal. I had a Pentax K1000 that I started out with, and I loved it!

Nikon is a solid choice for a 35mm film camera.

I would point you to the Nikon FM2 single lens reflex camera. A solid performer that's been in production for decades with little need for improvement.

However, if you just want a point and shoot pocket 35mm, look at the Olympus Stylus line of pocket cameras. Sharp as a tack and dirt cheap due to the drop in interest in film cameras.

You can get a great used Nikon film SLR for a fraction of its new price. Iwww.keh.com is a good, reliable used dealer.

You don't say what you're interested in, but the F100 is a fantastic camera, great autofocus and metering, sturdy semi-pro build, and handles like a dream! I gave almost a thousand dollars for mine several years ago, now you can get a mint used body for under $400 USD. The N8008 and the N90s would also be great choices, for autofocus bodies. With any of them, get the 50mm 1.8 lens, the best value in a lens on the planet, about $100 new!

The older F series manual cameras are worth thinking about as well. I would not opt for a new FM10. It is actually built by Cosina, not necessarily a bad camera, but not a real Nikon, either.
