Digital Camera...Which brand is better Sony, Olympus, Nikon, or Cannon?

Need to capture pix of my son growing up...

Mine's an Olympus and it's awesome!

They are all good brands, but the Nikons usually have the best quality lenses, and lens quality can often be more important than the number of pixels.

I'm pretty sure that Canon (thats the right way to spell it) is best with digital cameras, except that most of them are kind of bulky and big compared to the newer models of cameras.

They've got high amounts of mega-pixels when you view the photos, so they're more clear and stuff as well.

I have an Olympus, I love it it is simple and easy to use. it is easy to transfer from camera to computer. My sister has a Sony, very expensive, but I don't like it, hard to use, and transfer photos. Good luck, go online an check out the reviews for some of them.

Cannon...I've just bought the IXUS 60..great size, easy to use...and fantastic picture quality.
