I am a nikon Retailer in Canada and I can tell you positively, that you can ONLY get warranty service from the region of sale on an item like this. Each region has its own rules governing radio noise and the amount of electronic interferance an electronic device like your camera can produce. As such though it might look the same on the outside it is definetly not the same on the inside.
You have a Korean camera you must send it back to Korea for service. Not an inexpensive proposition. Considering shipping fees from most NA areas to Asia are pretty high, and the fact that a korean camera purchased in China may actually be a grey market camera, I think you have your work cut out for you. In your instruction manual there should have been warranty cards with world-wide repair depots listed therin, use those or go to the Nikon portal site to get further info.
