Why won't my Nikon Coolpix camera work.? |
My Nikon camera will turn on but the half the screen is white with lines and the other half is just black. And I can't view any of my pictures or anything. What can I do to fix this. Sounds like you cracked the LCD screen. To professionally fix will cost as much as the value of the camera. If you really want to try fixing it yourself, you'll need to find a replacement screen ( you can cannibalize another broken camera from ebay ). Here are some examples of repairs: It could even be a battery problem .I've heard of strange things happening when batteries are on the fritz.
