I have a nikon coolpix 3200 and for some reason when I try to take a photograph it turns everything pink?? Seems to be wherever the flash hits turns pink - I dont know too much about cameras so dont want to mess with it - I have tried resetting the set up but this has made no difference. Any help would be much appreciated. You might have your high lights turned on which you can fix in the menus. If that doesn't help, then I would say that your CCD chip is going bad and that it's time to pull out the warranty card (if it's still under warranty) or get a new camera. Sound like the white balance, if you are using flash indoors then you need to set the appropriate WB setting. Probably Tungsten. If its still causing this then manual set it. Other than that I'd definetely concur that the sensor is at fault. Call Nikon USA's free live tech help line, (800) NIKON-UX, is open all the time, 24/7/365 Make sure the white balance is set to auto. Wipe the lipgloss smear off the flash. ;-) |
