Nikon Coolpix S550 or Olympus Stylus 1010?

I am interested in buying a digital camera but can't decide which one I want. Out of all the camera's I've researched, my choice came down to these two. Which one would you recommend and why?? Any one that has either camera please let me know what you think and which one is worth buying? Thanks!

The Nikon uses the nearly universal SD/SDHC memory cards ... the Olympus a nearly proprietary xD.

That can mean two things to you. First SD/SDHC cards are the least expensive memory cards and easiest to find and second the SD cards are used on other devices like PDA's and some MP3 players. All but three of the digital camera makers use SD cards in their cameras

    I doubt this is an issue with your camera. It might be an issue with your battery being old and not producing/holding enough voltage. Try a new, fully charged battery.
