Is this digital camera fixable? |
It's a Nikon Coolpix 8.0 Megapixels. I can turn it on, and when I press buttons, it makes the same sounds, but the screen is white with a weird black crack in it which happened after I dropped it. I can still take pictures and transfer them to my comp, but the screen remains the same and doesn't let me view my pictures or what I'm taking a pictures of. If I can fix it, how much would the repair cost, and where can I get it fixed? yeah it is fixable most camera repair shops do it... Everything is fixable. The question is how much will it cost. If the camera cost less than $200 I highly doubt it is worth fixing. Bring it to a camera repair shop or just call and ask them. It sounds like you need a new LCD screen. They will be able to tell you how much one costs and give you an estimate on how much it will run to repair it. Not worth repairing. Use it as is untill you get another camera. |
