Nikon or Fujifilm?

I have two digital cameras picked out, one is a Nikon one is a Fujifilm. They are very alike in megapixels, price, etc., but I want to know which on is best. I once owned a Nikon which is kind of swaying me towards another, but the Fujifilm has more of the look and easy-on I want. Which camera is better as far as use and picture quality?

Also, price is not an issue, so please don't just tell me "the cheaper one".

you should definitely get the nikon camera. their name is just associated with more high-tech, and more functional camera, their name comes about frequently in professional photography, so don't you think their point and shoot cameras would be great too ?

Fujifilm, on the other hand, makes cameras that you don't hear that much good of, sure, they're ultra slim, and can fit in your purse, but is that more important than quality? it's definitely not in my opinion. Nikon puts pro. optics in their point and shoot cameras, but you don't see fujifilm making much professional cameras. ( other than the s3, and s5, which i can't insult, pro. is much different then point and shoot )

Get the Nikon one. I have been using Nikon and Hasselblad for over 20 years and not one customer of mine ever asked me what brand of camera I use because people know the brand. It is easier to find servicing and accessories for the Nikon than the Fuji. I believe the Fuji uses Nikon lenses, so why not get the body too, so you know everything matches.

How many professional photographers carry Fuji and how many carry Nikons?
