I need a new digital camera |
My camera broke, so I want to buy a new one, but I'm not sure what kind. I used to have a Nikon Coolpix, which was OK except the battery life was very short. I'm looking for something under $250 that takes fairly good quality pictures and can take videos with sound. Any suggestions? The all time winner bargain compact digital camera is the Canon 7.1 megapixel PowerShot SD1000 [not the IS] 7.1 with an added 2- gig memory card which when set in the manual mode for "Vivid" colors and videos at 30 fps in 320 dpi format provides killer images and videos. It currently sells for $160 at Sears: Your answer might be the Canon PowerShot A720IS. It's highly recommended by most review sites as being one of the best cameras in your price range. |
