Is it more acceptable to paint a female nude than to take a posed photograph of one? |
Many people regard painting as more of a skill than photography. I don't agree. Do you? Adult answersw only please. I think that they are equal art forms. They both develope different talents. I can draw and paint really well and I can build a decent composition but I can't take a photo to save my life...out of so many pictures I take I may get a couple of "artistic" shots. I just don't have the eye for it. My brother on the other can't draw to save his life but he can take a damn good photo. Even setting up models to get a decent shot I could probably do but it would take a great deal of effort. I think they are equal in terms artistic quality. of course photography is a form of art..cummon..the eight art:D;well..nude shots at least..nut women mastur**ting and so on... i'll perfer painting it's nasty to see a nude person that you don't even konw Both are accepted forms of art. Photography has only recently been in the "main stream" as "Art". the people said like this, forgive me to say they are not real artist. if you are new for painting, it is a better practice for you. if you are expert, then you should know you will get more feeling and life in nude I feel as long as either/both are done tastefully than they are both acceptable. I feel that both of them take a high level of skill, they just take different levels of skill set. Their both equally hard and expensive to undertake. College. Took both Painting and Photography the same semester! I was overly tired and broke by the end of the semester. |
